What is soft play you ask? Well as the name suggests, soft play is a range of equipment that is soft, made from industrial foam and pvc. It comes in exciting shapes and colours aimed at small children. Some of these shapes include:- steps, slides, tunnels, balance beams, archways and many more.
So how is this different to an indoor play centre? Well for a start, we are fully mobile. Second of all we do not use the fixed structures that are common in the indoor play centres. All of our equipment is free-standing to allow it to fit to most areas. Most importantly, we can come to your house which means that all of the equipment is used exclusively by your group. No more do you have to worry about your little one being swept along with a crowd of more boisterous older children, or copping a stray ball-pit ball in the eye (as has happened to my toddlers on more than one occasion). Nor do you have the fear of having to climb levels upon levels to rescue an overly ambitious yet rather terrified tot from the top of the highest slippery slide this side of the Ekka.
We deliver our lovely clean equipment to your door, and we also set it up for you. All we need is a big space (inside or outside), access points and adequate shade for outdoor use. We'll give you a run through and some safety instructions then you're ready to roll. Let the kids loose and sit down. Obviously you will be required to watch the kids to make sure they're playing safely, but you're still able to relax and have a coffee without having to worry about a stray child drinking your coffee while you're off resucing your little cherub from the depths of the play structure.
Now I hear you ask, why don't I just hire a jumping castle. That's a great idea for kids over 5 yrs, but have you ever watched a 2yo on a jumping castle? Most of them at that age still have enough trouble walking, let alone jumping. More often that not you end up with a "stacks-on" type scenario of about 5 kids who are then terrified to get back on, followed by the poor jumping castle being pummelled by over-enthusiatic dads trying to show how "fun" it is, leaving the poor tots too scared to even look in the direction. Of course these's always that one child who perseveres with with jumping castle, but more often than not the structure is totally void of activity by the time the man comes to collect it.
Now don't think that we are limited to kids birthday parties.
